Minimum Education:

  • PhD in Clinical Psychology.
  • Certifications & Licenses: PhD in Clinical Psychology.


Required Skills:

  • Patient care.
  • Knowledge of adult and pediatric neuropsychiatric disorders and research design.
  • Familiarity with clinical research and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
  • Clinical trial management and experience with diverse populations (children, adolescents, adults, elderly).
  • Proficiency in semi-structured interviews (e.g., SCID, K-SADS).
  • Screening and evaluation.
  • Field of Study: Clinical Psychology.


Role & Responsibilities:

  • Recruit and screen participants (adults, children, adolescents) for research, including interviews, medical record reviews, and consultations with NIMH staff.
  • Coordinate community engagement and recruitment efforts with local schools and organizations.
  • Provide clinical support and therapy (CBT) for patients and families.
  • Offer family support, crisis management, and referrals to NIH and community resources.
  • Conduct neuropsychological assessments and clinical ratings during research studies.
  • Administer and interpret psychological assessments for participants and their families.
  • Contribute to clinical research design, execution, and data interpretation.
  • Conduct reliability checks and train research staff on psychiatric screening and neuropsychological assessments.
  • Maintain comprehensive records and document research findings.
  • Provide training to research staff on psychological testing and mental health conditions.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of participant information, research findings, and reports for publication.
  • Recruit and screen participants, provide CBT therapy, and administer psychological assessments.
  • Document research findings and collaborate in clinical training and research execution.
