POSITION SUMMARY:

Andersen's Premium Business focuses on the custom new residential and replacement market and delivers the highest performing product in the Andersen portfolio. Product managers are the critical link between the customer facing functions (sales, marketing service) of the business and operations, IT and RD&I. Product managers participate in business general management and the development and execution of product strategy, programs, and planning. Product managers work closely with functional delivery partners and are responsible for strategy and program implementation, execution, and results. In addition, product managers drive both the product line financial results and customer satisfaction.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participate in the development of strategic and annual plans.
  • Lead the development of the product strategy: positioning, features/options, pricing, warranty, and services.
  • Develop and own the product roadmaps.
  • Regularly participate in field forums, trade shows, and customer visits.
  • Develop tools and processes to support the product information needs of internal delivery partners, field sales, channel and trade customers.
  • Accountable for product performance against targeted volume and profit goals.
  • Lead development of comprehensive business cases for new product and on-going product development initiatives.
  • Support demand work within sales and operations planning process, ensuring inclusion of all relevant demand drivers; market conditions, trends, channel and trade factors, and promotions.
  • Develop a detailed understanding of competitors and provide insights on key competitive activities and differentiators.
  • Provide leadership as the business / product representative on cross functional teams charged with delivering new products or product enhancements; specifically responsible for project scope, customer requirements, volume, pricing, and launch plans.
  • Effectively communicate to executives, industry forums, customers, and delivery partners.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Three plus years product / marketing / sales experience
  • 4 year degree (business marketing engineering operations)
  • Experience in building or building products preferred.
  • Demonstrated history of delivering results on time and on plan
  • Strong technical & analytical skills
  • Strong strategic thinking skills
  • Demonstrated leadership in a cross-functional environment.
  • Skilled at leading teams and development initiatives.
  • Capable of effectively communicating to senior executives, industry audiences, customers, and delivery partners
  • Excellent written, presentation and influencing skills.

COMPENSATION:

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process. Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn $99,216 - $188,796/year.

In 2025 Andersen has set a profit sharing target of $3,500 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
