Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled
Senior Full-Stack Developer to join our team and drive innovation for a mission-critical web application built with Dotnet, Angular, and Oracle. In this role, you will collaborate closely with client leadership and the existing team to develop a long-term modernization plan for the application. The ideal candidate will possess strong management, communication, and leadership skills in addition to deep technical expertise in full-stack development. You will take ownership of the codebase, delegate tasks to team members, and provide valuable insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
Work is to be performed onsite in downtown Washington, DC.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular code reviews and manage version control for the team to ensure high-quality, maintainable code.
- Design and develop new front-end features and enhance existing ones using Angular.
- Design and develop new APIs and improve existing ones to enhance the application's capabilities.
- Regularly update and maintain Angular and Dotnet frameworks to ensure they are up-to-date and performing optimally.
- Work with multiple teams to optimize the application's performance, security, and overall user experience.
- Collaborate with teams to simplify and optimize the existing database design.
- Ensure proper monitoring metrics and testing protocols are in place for the application.
- Assist in creating and executing a long-term modernization and upgrade plan for the application to keep it aligned with industry best practices.
- Work and report within an Agile development framework to maintain smooth workflow and project deadlines.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Minimum 3 years of experience with a Master's Degree or 5+ years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree in full-stack development.
Required Skills
- Strong experience with Dotnet (C#) and Angular (2+ years).
- Proven understanding of frontend frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Vue, AngularJS).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub, GitLab, SVN) and deployment pipelines (e.g., Git Actions).
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) in English.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Ability to work onsite 3 days per week.
Desired Skills
- Expertise in Angular development, including the latest versions.
- Familiarity with Oracle databases and working with relational data models.
- Knowledge of Node.js or other backend technologies.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Scrum).
- Strong leadership and project management experience with the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
