VP, Client Development - Post-Acute

The VP for Client Development will oversee all prospects in Netsmart's Care at Home (HH, HOS, Palliative, Personal Care etc) and Senior Living (SNF, AL/IL, CCRC, etc) business units.

About the Vice President, Client Development

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with the company's goals

  • Forecast and track sales trends, analyzing collected data for planning purposes

  • Build and maintain a high-performing team of Client Development Executives (CDEs) through effective recruiting, performance management, development planning, and continuous coaching and mentoring.

  • Collaborate with marketing and product development departments to understand, promote and position Netsmart's Care Fabric.

  • They will focus on growing our market share through revenue growth in solutions, clients and all market segments.

  • This person will provide support and perspectives for potential future partnership strategies.

  • Collaborate with organizations/teams within Netsmart to assist with decision making and vision alignment.

  • Establish and maintain relationships with key clients, industry influencers, and strategic partners

  • Prepare and present sales reports to executive leadership, detailing sales performance, opportunities for growth, and other key metrics

  • Negotiate contracts with clients and establish a plan of action for service delivery

Accountabilities of the Vice President, Client Development:

  • Execution of revenues and profit targets

  • Development of new business

  • People development

  • Promote and live Netsmart values

Requirements for Success:

  • Bachelor's Degree with an MBA preferred

  • 10+ years of Executive-level Sales and Marketing leadership

  • Proven success with growth, exceeding sales targets, coaching and development.

  • Experience leading in a matrixed environment and the charisma to effectively lead in this environment.
