Job Description

PCI is seeking a Site Safety Representative for its Memphis, TN operations based in Memphis, TN. This individual will be responsible for the following duties:

    Promote safety, safe work practices, and behaviors to instill an injury-free culture throughout all site and field personnel.
  • Assist the branch/site with implementing and administering the company's accident prevention plan, policies, and procedures, including safety resources such as training, expertise, and guidance.
  • Represent PCI and participate in Safety Committee activities.
  • Assist in identifying, correcting, and mitigating routine and non-routine safety and health hazards.
  • Ensure company and client safety reports and documentation are submitted timely and per client requirements and expectations.
  • Council and coach workers to gain compliance with the accident prevention plans, policies, and procedures.
  • Identify, evaluate, and mitigate potential safety health hazards.
  • Conduct job site inspections and periodic audits to establish and evaluate compliance.
  • Responsible for investigating and evaluating injuries and illnesses for the project site.
  • Convey a professional and positive attitude as the safety representative of the plant site and corporation.
  • Evaluate and approve safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE).

This position is safety-sensitive.



Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of construction experience.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Prolonged periods standing and working outside.
  • Physically able to perform assigned tasks.
  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds at a time.
  • Local to the Memphis metro area

Preferred Requirements:

  • Bilingual
  • OSHA 30
