Project Manager, Tactical Navigation (TACNAV)

Clearance Requirement: Active Secret Clearance is required to start

Travel Requirements: Negligible

Location: Norfolk, VA

SUMMARY: WR has an opportunity for a Project Manager, Tactical Navigation (TACNAV) to work directly with customers and sponsors to provide engineering, technical, and ILS/IPS support for SSBN navigation systems.

Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

• Manage all aspects of assigned projects under minimal supervision of Program Manager including but not limited to:

o Project requirement identification

o Prepare proposals and estimates

o Establish and execute project schedule and budget

o Perform project risk management

o Monitor and control project schedule, cost, quality, and risk

o Ensure proper material management of Government-Furnished Property (GFP)

Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience:

• Technical training in Navy navigation equipment and systems.
• Eight (8) years of hands-on experience with US Navy Navigation equipment and systems, to include three (3) of the following four (4) areas:

o Systems Requirements

o Operational Requirements

o Test & Evaluation

o Training
