Sr Capture Manager
Description of specific duties in a typical workday for this position:

  • Work with company executives, senior leaders, DOD BU VP, and partners to identify opportunities where OST can Prime or bring value as a Sub-contractor
  • Develop and execute capture plans for each opportunity-from identifying strategic partners, call plans, teaming arrangements, and bid resources across entire capture lifecycle
  • Obtain pursuit and resource approvals, and conduct briefings, throughout OST's internal gate review process
  • Support price-to-win (PTW) analysis activities
  • Track, record, and present activity on accounts and pipelines to senior leadership
  • Work with subject matter experts and teams to develop quick turn proposals that speak to the client's needs
  • Drive corporate revenue by meeting/exceeding assigned win targets
  • Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and share information with OST leadership
  • Increase OST Brand recognition across all DoD communities
  • Use knowledge of the market and competitors to identify and develop the company's unique value propositions and differentiators for opportunities

Position Requirements:

  • 7-10 years of relevant experience working as a Business Development lead in the DOD and/or Intelligence Community
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the Shipley Capture and Proposal process
  • Demonstrated ability to grow a network and leverage established relationships to drive revenue
  • Proven track record of winning business, Army experience preferred
  • Demonstrated track record of developing and executing capture strategies to achieve/exceed revenue targets
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • US Citizen,
  • Ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance



Nice to Have:

  • 10 - 15 years of previous experience in Business Development Capture and Proposals
  • Master's Degree
  • Agile experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge, experience, and relationships with customers and partners supporting Army and DoD customers, as well as military experience
  • Demonstrated experience of identifying new business opportunities and conducting business development
  • Willing to get your hands dirty participating in solution sessions and writing RFI and RFP proposal sections
  • Active Top Secret or higher clearance
