For the past two decades, the Center for Young Women's Health (CYWH) at Boston Children's Hospital has been inviting high school students from the Boston area to join their Youth Advisory Program (YAP) as peer leaders. Through CYWH and YAP, young people in Boston have had the opportunity to receive mentorship and leadership training with the goal of becoming advocates and educators for teenagers, not only locally but also globally.
