We have an opportunity at our corporate offices in Chicago for a Communications Specialist II on our Physician Satisfaction team. This is a hybrid position reporting into our Chicago, IL office, requiring twice a month in office.

As a Communications Specialist II, you will be responsible for supporting all promotional communications for the Professional
Satisfaction & Practice Sustainability (PS2) business unit, contributing to
the fulfillment of PS2's overall strategic objectives by increasing the awareness
and engagement of PS2's initiatives and resources. This role will also track
and help analyze data to better understand the impact of
PS2's communication efforts and support the team in building new reporting
methods.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Communications and Marketing

  • Develop comprehensive promotional guides targeted at various key external audiences, including physicians, health system leaders and others
  • Content manage and distribute the bi-weekly PS2 newsletter
  • Project manage all print requests for collateral materials and provide design support for marketing pieces as needed
  • Provide content development support for email campaigns, presentations, web copy, paid media campaigns and other promotional projects as needed
  • Recommend and incorporate continuous process improvement practices and efficiencies in procedures, processes, and protocols
  • Handle all scheduling and administrative needs for communication meetings
  • Copyedit promotional materials as needed

Data Reporting and Dashboards

  • Input and maintain all owned media placements (newsletters, social media, articles, etc.) in PS2's marketing tracker
  • Oversee monthly metrics data tracking (i.e., pageviews and downloads) for all PS2 resources
  • Support the communications and content teams in development and maintenance of KPI reports, marketing reports, leadership reports, and digital dashboards to monitor performance against goals
  • Work with communications team to monitor trends in promotional data, identify high-performing resources, and adjust marketing efforts to yield best results

May include other responsibilities as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Bachelor's degree in journalism, English, marketing, or other communications discipline required; knowledge/background in data analysis, public health, healthcare administration, and/or other health-related field preferred.
  2. 3+ years' experience in content creation, communications or marketing required.
  3. Strong writing and copyediting skills.
  4. Strong project management skills, with an ability to work on multiple assignments and manage competing projects effectively.
  5. Demonstrated sense of initiative and professionalism.
  6. Analytic and problem-solving skills; demonstrated knowledge of using data to inform communications and marketing plans and a thirst to continue to learn more.
  7. Familiarity with SharePoint, PowerPoint, Canva and/or Asana a plus.

The salary range for this position is $67,320-$89,760. This is the lowest to highest salary we believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's pay within the salary range will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to business consideration, geographical location, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
