Electrical Safety Controls Technician
The Electrical Safety Controls Technician will design, develop, install, and manage equipment used to control and monitor machinery and processes to ensure production standards are met while maintaining a customer focus and creating value through continual improvement in product and process. This role has a primary focus around electrical safety controls, prohibitive safety cameras, and our operations camera system. ***Please upload a resume to be further considered for this role. Basic Qualifications: * 3 years of Industrial Electrical experience in a Manufacturing facility * Experience in PLC programming What Will Put You Ahead * 4 years industrial work experience in PLC, HMI, and Vision * Servo control system troubleshooting and support, with specific experience in Rockwell, Yaskawa, Beckhoff, and Siemens control systems Other Considerations: * Seeking a self-starter who can thrive in an environment with minimal direct supervision * Demonstrated leadership and trouble-shooting abilities * Drive process improvements and work within a team to resolve problems * Excellent communication skills within all levels of the organization What You Will Do * Troubleshoot automation equipment * Manage the design and installation of electrical equipment including PLC's, HMI's, variable speed drives, and other instruments * Work directly with many different roles within our organization to collaborate, develop and implement new systems and controls * Coach and teach other electrical techs how to troubleshoot and maintain our Safety Control Systems * Maintain, troubleshoot, and implement programming adjustments to all PLC, HMI, and SCADA programs along with variable frequency drives, vision systems, and other automated equipment * Develop and implement unique automated solutions to benefit production and improve cycle time * Reduce downtime by identifying and correcting ongoing issues and preventing quality alerts * Maintain compliance with all safety requirements * Follow all environmental policies, procedures, work instructions and requirements, including the proper use of personal protective equipment * Timely reporting to management of all environmental concerns related to work being carried out, as well as, all incidents, which present a hazard to people, production, or the environment * At Koch companies, we are entrepreneurs.
