Senior Commercial Training and Development Specialist

About the Role

Impact you will make

Our Commercial Onboarding Learning & Development Specialist owns the onboarding training program for new commercial team members, ensuing new team members can navigate and use enablement tools and resources, and demonstrate essential selling skills to build and manage their pipeline. This role will manage the entire onboarding training cycle.

What you will do



  • Partner with IT and Ops to ensure new hires are correctly assigned permissions, access, and communication about their onboarding
  • Manage, schedule, and track each new team member from day 1 through onboarding completion and continued tracking of time to productivity
  • Apply adult learning theory and andragogy to create engaging curriculum across various methods (e.g., on-the-job training, seminars, simulations, etc.) and delivery styles virtual instructor-led, asynchronous, blended, and live courses within the onboarding program to accommodate different time zones and seller travel schedule
  • Design and develop interactive learning activities, curate digital content, and create multimedia solutions. These can include videos, images, infographics, audio, animations, and social media elements to enhance learning experiences. Manage training materials and suggest improvements
  • Create meaningful engagement and learning opportunities and build reports
  • Build summative and formative assessments to ensure and track learning throughout the onboarding process
  • Collaborate with various departments to schedule and prepare materials and facilitators when necessary
  • Foster connections between new employees and colleagues, promoting collaboration and a sense of belonging



What you will bring



  • 3+ years' experience leading, building, and facilitating sales onboarding or similiar programs with multi-modal delivery
  • Experience applying adult learning theory and curriculum design principles to asynchronous methods of learning
  • Excellent communication and team management in presentation, organizational, and management skills across stakeholders and leaners
  • Clear understanding of a typical sales process, sales play, and customer journey
  • Technology Proficiency in learning and enablement technology, Salesforce, and Microsoft products
  • Experience holding non-direct-reports accountable both up and down business matrix
  • Excellence in process documentation
  • Experience working cross-functionally to gather input and meet stakeholder needs
