Join the HJF Team! HJF is seeking a Research Nurse Practitioner I to serve as a research team member and be responsible for participant recruitment and meeting target, positive vaginal culture recruitment goal. Will work in outpatient research situations as part of a large research team. Research clinical responsibilities include performing speculum exams for the purpose of collecting vaginal samples, routing research samples to Site microbiology lab, tracking laboratory results, and reporting weekly recruitment numbers and research outcomes to the research team. This position will be in support of the Uniformed Services University Daniel K. Inouye's Graduate School of Nursing in the Military Women's Health Program located in Bethesda, MD. The Research Nurse Practitioner will be located at the Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, TX. The primary objective is to establish lay user performance criteria (sensitivity and specificity) for the SavvyCheck Vaginal Yeast Test in comparison to the Reference Method (vaginal Candida yeast culture).
