Starkey is hiring for a Program Coordinator in our Center for Excellence located in Eden Prairie, MN. The Program Coordinator will play a crucial role in managing Starkey's employee hearing aid benefit program. This position involves overseeing the employee benefit program's operations as well as reviewing purchase agreements, collecting payments from patients at checkout, and providing exceptional follow-up care to ensure patient satisfaction for all patients in the Center For Excellence. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/RESULTS

1. Manage Employee Hearing Aid Benefit Program:



  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the employee hearing aid benefit program.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding hearing aid benefits and related inquiries.
  • Collaborate with HR and benefits teams to ensure program compliance and effectiveness.


2. Review Purchase Agreements in the Center For Excellence:



  • Analyze and review purchase agreements for hearing aids and related services to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.


3. Collect Payments in the Center For Excellence:



  • Process payments from patients at checkout, ensuring accurate billing and collection of fees.
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions and patient accounts.
  • Address any billing inquiries or issues that may arise during the payment process.


4. Patient Follow-Up in the Center For Excellence:



  • Conduct follow-up phone calls with patients 24 hours after their hearing aid fitting to assess satisfaction and address any concerns.
  • Document feedback and communicate any necessary follow-up actions to the appropriate team members.


5. Reporting and Documentation:



  • Prepare and maintain reports related to the hearing aid benefit program, including usage statistics and patient feedback.
  • Ensure all patient interactions and transactions are documented accurately in the system.


6. Customer Service:



  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and employees, addressing inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.


JOB REQUIREMENTS

Minimum Education, Certification and Experience Requirements

Education



  • High school diploma or equivalent


Experience



  • 3 Years experience in managing projects or working in a healthcare setting.


Knowledge / Technical Requirements



  • Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for patient documentation.


Competencies, Skills & Abilities



  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and their families.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively educate and interact with patients.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.


Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $26.44 - $32.50 / hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Benefits:

The Company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements, include medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, short-term disability insurance, long-term disability insurance, employee assistance program, hearing aid benefits, PTO, 6 paid holidays annually, 2 floater days annually, 1 volunteer service day annually, paid paternity leave, and tuition reimbursement.

This position is eligible for a bonus based upon performance results. There is no guarantee of payout.
