What you need to know: As a Lead Development Specialist, you will support the fundraising department in establishing best-in-class donor cultivation, engagement and stewardship resources that retain and grow donor investment in the mission of the American Red Cross. This position will specifically support our corporate fundraising team in written communication to donors, including: proposals, stewardship reports and informational updates. You will also serve as the face of the Red Cross to corporations and employee bases who fund our mission. This could include but is not limited to mission impact presentations, employee engagement events and lunch and learns both in person and virtually. This is a hybrid work position where you will work once a week in our office at 2200 W Harrison Street and remote at other times. In-office expectations may vary based upon work requirements. * Combination of candidate's education and general experience satisfies requirements so long as the total years equate to description's minimum education and general experience years combined (Management experience cannot be substituted). Compensation: The hourly range for this position is $26.00 - 29.00/hr. Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
