Job Summary

This position will be coordinating the ongoing NIH-funded projects: the Women-Centered Opioid Recovery Project and Freedom to Reach Emotional Empowerment (FREE).
Coordinates the research activities and operations of the projects and maintaining communication with team members, investigators, and consultants. Assists in implementing protocols, data collection, analysis, and drafting manuscripts. Maintains documentation for progress reports and completing all necessary training to adhere to standard operating procedures, with a commitment to collaborative teamwork and the execution of additional duties as needed.

  • Coordinates and performs qualitative data analysis of in-depth interview and focus group transcripts
  • Coordinates qualitative data management including editing transcripts and file management in qualitative analysis software
  • Coordination and scheduling of qualitative data collection activities, including focus groups and in-depth interviews (virtual or in-person)
  • Coordinates the preparation of data collection tools, including in-depth interview guides, focus group facilitation guides, and surveys
  • Coordinates literature reviews as needed
  • Assists with drafting manuscripts/abstracts for submission to peer-reviewed journals and conferences
  • Coordinates preparation of study recruitment materials
  • Manages and administers research incentives for study participants
  • Coordinates the compilation and distribution of reports related to research progress and findings for study participants, stakeholders, and funders
  • Assists with survey design, administration, and data management using REDCap
  • Coordinates a community advisory board, including scheduling meetings and processing payments for participation
  • Contributes to adaptation and refinement of Health intervention and assessment materials
  • Provides updates on study progress and challenges during regular study meetings
  • Works closely with PI and research team members to ensure timely communication and collaboration
  • Handling/managing cash, checks, cash transactions, gift cards, debit/credit cards, and/or cash equivalent.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience.

Desired Qualifications

  • Education in public health, social work, or related field
  • Experience working with research or programs related to Psychology, Public Health, Social Work or related discipline.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Excel, Word, Powerpoint).
  • Professional business and technical writing skills.
