Overview
The Transportation Execution Manager will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end (E2E) transportation execution team. This role involves managing a dedicated team while ensuring seamless operational execution and strategic alignment with supply chain objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of transportation and supply chain dynamics, coupled with a strong aptitude for change management, collaboration, and customer-centric focus.

Key Responsibilities:
* Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of transportation execution Sr. Coordinators. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
* Operational Oversight: Oversee day-to-day transportation operations, ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of goods. Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance.
* Strategic Planning: Develop and implement transportation strategies that align with overall supply chain objectives. Identify opportunities for optimization and continuous improvement.
* Change Management: Lead change initiatives to improve transportation processes and systems. Ensure smooth transition and adoption of new practices within the team.
* Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, warehouse, and customer service, to ensure alignment and integration of transportation activities.
* Customer Focus: Maintain a customer-centric approach, ensuring that transportation services meet or exceed customer expectations. Address and resolve transportation-related customer issues promptly.
* Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations and company policies. Stay updated on industry standards and best practices.
* Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on transportation performance, including metrics on delivery times, costs, and customer satisfaction. Provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
* Vendor Management: Maintain relationships with transportation service providers.

Qualifications:

* Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Experience: 5+ years of experience in transportation or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Proven track record of managing and leading teams.
* Knowledge: Strong understanding of transportation and supply chain concepts, including logistics, distribution, and inventory management. Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and software.
* Skills: Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
* Certifications: Professional certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD) are preferred.

The approximate pay range for this position is $111,725 to $162,750. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
