Job Summary:

Are you looking for an extraordinary career where you can shape the minds and behaviors of sales people while influencing the sales results of an entire industry? Richmond American Homes is looking for a professional sales trainer to develop talent across an identified region.

As a National Sales Trainer, you will partner with National Sales leadership, as well as individual division leadership, to develop talent and drive sales.

The primary function will be to create, train, and implement weekly and monthly training sessions that impact the productivity of the sales associates region-wide. Additionally, you will provide one-on-one training with sales associates with a primary goal of improving their sales process, increase their understanding and fluency within company systems and providing valuable feedback to national and divisional leadership teams. Reporting into the Director of National Sales Training, this individual will also research and develop new, relevant content for the sales team.

Job Responsibilities:

    Prepares new sales representatives for their new home sales career by conducting monthly new hire sales trainings,
  • Creates and conducts supplemental sales trainings on relevant topics for new and current sales employees.
  • Observes sales processes and collects feedback, results, and performance data of trainees after sessions.
  • Coordinates sales development plans and feedback to sales associates and sales managers.
  • Provides resources and assistance to sales employees.
  • Assists in developing relevant content for new sales training courses.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications.
  • Tracks training plans for new and existing sales associates and communicates feedback to national and divisional leadership.
  • Travels as needed (50-70%) to implement new training initiatives and support any division sales training needs.
  • Travel requirements will be higher during the first year as candidate acquaints themselves to teams, systems and processes.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of sales experience, where coaching and developing sales skills was a primary focus.
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience. Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Ability to work weekends when needed
  • Up to 50-70% travel will be required on an on-going basis for the first year
  • Successful sales experience required, highly preferable in new homes or real estate
  • Ability to connect with people, and develop and maintain professional relationships
  • Skilled in computer skills in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Experience in systems including JD Edwards Enterprise One and Microsoft Dynamics365 highly preferred.
  • The position will require the candidate to work from our Las Vegas, NV or Phoenix, AZ office locations.

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $100,000- $140,000
  • FLSA Status: Exempt
  • Bonus Type: Year-end Discretionary
