About Ameren Services (B&CS) Ameren Services provides administrative support and services to Ameren Corporation and its operating companies, subsidiaries and affiliates. Ameren Services includes a wide range of skill sets and roles, from finance and legal experts to digital and cyber specialists, plus those charged with ensuring environmental compliance and operational safety. About The Position This position will be a key team member in driving efficiencies and supporting the financial data flow through the financial reporting process. The position partners with cross-functional team members to identify system needs as it relates to the efficient Record-to-Report process and accurate delivery of Ameren's financial information. This position provides support to users of Ameren's financial suite of applications and is responsible for the project management (implementation, maintenance and administration) of the core financial systems at Ameren. This position is primarily focused on Oracle Cloud ERP General Ledger ("GL"). Key responsibilities include:
Minimum Qualifications- Senior Financial Systems Analyst Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent degree from an accredited college or university required. MBA or CPA/CFA certification preferred. Five or more years of experience working on accounting-related systems at public companies on the IT or business side required. With advanced degree or CPA/CFA certification, three or more years of experience working on accounting-related systems on the IT or business side required. Oracle Cloud ERP system experience preferred. Experience with the Utility industry and/or SEC regulatory accounting preferred. Minimum Qualifications- Lead Financial Systems Analyst Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent degree from an accredited college or university required. MBA or CPA/CFA certification preferred. Eight or more years of experience working on accounting-related systems on the IT or business side required. With advanced degree or CPA/CFA certification, five or more years of experience working on accounting-related systems on the IT or business side required. Oracle system experience preferred. Experience with the Utility industry and/or regulatory accounting preferred. In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate: Possess a strong understanding of financial accounting systems and SOX controls. Familiarity with RPA software and other automation technologies a plus. Familiarity with the Utility industry and/or regulatory accounting a plus. Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments and manage rapidly changing assignments in a team environment. Knowledge of systems development at a level sufficient to evaluate proposals and project plans. Ability to provide technical and/or functional guidance on financial systems. Must be able to solve problems with minimum supervision from management or business owners. Individual needs to be proactive, good communicator (oral and written), able to effectively multitask and prioritize, and needs strong computer technical skills to trouble shoot and assess key issues to address. Must possess the ability to collaborate, build relationships and work effectively with business segment key stakeholders in order to understand and deliver on customer requests. Compensation Range: $86,400.00 - $168,000.00* This pay range encompasses multiple levels of the role. Career level and compensation depends upon applicant's credentials. At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
