Overview
Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) has an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Technical Specialist, supporting TOS II, at Arnold AFB in Tennessee. The Payroll Technical Specialist will be working as a member of an integrated team responsible for paying our diverse workforce that is supporting the United States Air Force Test Operations and Sustainment efforts at Arnold Engineering Development Complex.

Job Summary
The successful candidate will be a part of the team responsible for processing payroll for BNH employees. The job includes working with the Payroll team and management to identify and implement changes to Costpoint to optimize efficiency and resolve issues. The successful candidate will also oversee and assist with the processing of all related payroll taxes and weekly/bi-weekly payroll, provide assistance to employees and management regarding paycheck or timekeeping issues, and perform other general payroll responsibilities. Successful candidate should possess the following:
Ability to multitask
- Strong excel skills (Pivot table, VLOOKUPS/XLOOKUPS)
- Payroll experience
- Multistate Payroll tax experience
- Costpoint experienceU
- UKG experience a plus
- The ability to communicate clearly with a large and diverse workforce
Job Duties:
* Identify and implement Costpoint improvements
* Update Costpoint for wage determinations and other requirements
* Oversee payroll tax processing
* Process payroll and payroll corrections on a weekly and/or biweekly basis
* Check timesheets for accuracy
* Troubleshoot Costpoint labor processing issues
* Produce payroll reports for management and maintain payroll operations according to company policy and procedure
* Reconcile payroll related accounts
* Communicate with the workforce and help resolve any discrepancies in pay
* It is a condition of employment to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) in accordance with supervisory direction and company policy.
* Perform other duties as required.
Basic Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent plus two years of college and six years of relevant experience or any equivalent combination of education and progressive and relevant experience.
* Three years of specialized and relevant Costpoint experience.
* Three years of multistate payroll tax experience.
* Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Proficient computer skills, particularly in the use of Microsoft applications - Excel, Word, and Outlook.
* Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance and the AEDC local area network.
* Current U. S. Citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Active DoD security clearance
* Experience with UKG
