Hours per week: 15-19

Responsibilities

Learn the organization's policies, processes, products and/or services and perform duties and responsibilities based on the incumbent's functional work assignment. Acquire industry knowledge. Apply educational knowledge, skills and abilities to complete work assignments. Receives close supervision and usually works with regular checks on progress and verification of completeness and accuracy of work. Demonstrate strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: Working toward college degree in Marketing or Communication. Office environment with minimal physical exertion.

Preferred Qualifications: Effective communication skills and ability to work well with team members. Experience in building materials industry a plus.

  • Content creation - will be able to contribute to multiple digital platforms like social media, email marketing platforms, learning management systems (LMS), etc. Strong attention to detail is required.
  • Digital advertising and email marketing knowledge - willing to use best practices, plus data analysis for our B2B marketing efforts. The successful candidate will also be able to review campaign results and provide reports and recommendations for optimization. Experience with Constant Contact and/or ActiveCampaign is a plus.
  • Project coordination - can provide support and data entry tasks for the launch of a new digital asset management (DAM) tool. Experience in working across multiple groups and organizing large amounts of metadata are a plus.
  • Time management and technical proficiency - this is an in-office internship at our Headquarters in Boise. The successful intern candidate will have strong time management skills and be able to use Microsoft Office tools like Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and more.
  • Sales support - can help with sales team requests for events or tradeshows. This includes support for fulfilling literature and promotion item orders and execution with internal and external vendors. Strong organization skills are a bonus.
