JOB SUMMARY: Adjusting plant control variables and process equipment parameters to meet production requirements Troubleshooting the causes of plant operational issues and alarms, either directly or in conjunction with the local team, and taking corrective actions. Logging all process changes, alarms, and communications with plants Entering accurate and precise unplanned and planned event logs in a timely manner. Completing station rounds in a timely and efficient manner. Assisting with starting and stopping of plant machinery and processes in a safe manner as dictated by operating conditions and business needs. Optimizing plant performance by tracking performance data and implementing the best operating plan for all respective plants. Responsible for inputting time-worked into recording system on the last day of their shift and/or before the end of the pay period. Responsible for closing out ROC daily and weekly work order tasks in maintenance system as they are completed. Responsible for completing their station's portion of the Shift Summary Report. Follow shift change procedures to ensure thorough transfer of knowledge to next shift Responsible for reviewing and releasing medical grade product per FDA regulations. Completing all Learn Share and Master Control tasks and assignments as they are assigned. Submit vacation requests 14 days prior to the requested days off. May include other duties as assigned. Additional responsibilities/qualifications for the following ROC Operator Roles: Shift Lead- Overseeing ROC Operators and ROC Medical Release Clerk on shift to ensure procedures are being followed and business goals are being met Coverage-Plant Coverage, ROC Shift Lead or ROC Operator Coverage- Flexibility to help wherever needed, including Field Assignments Work Environmental & Physical The ROC Operator portion of role will be performed primarily in an office environment. The ROC Operator may also be required to work from a home location, which must be conducive to performing the role and duties, including virtual/video meetings. Job will require extensive daily usage of a computer, and other office equipment. The Remote Operation Center is a 24/7 facility that requires rotating day and night shift coverage. Employees will be required to work weekends, holidays, days and nights as required by their assigned schedule. Field Coverage will potentially occur where ever Matheson has a facility, and during any season. Climbing ladders/stairs of coldbox or tanks, multiple times per day. Working with hand tools and applying sufficient force to accomplish tasks. Fine/detailed adjustments of instruments. Lifting fifty (50) pounds to waist height. Ability to perform physical work while bending and twisting. Must be able to wear proper PPE for tasks - e.g. glasses, masks, gloves, etc. Must pass background check and drug test. Must sign NDA. Education/Experience: Associates or bachelor's degree preferred, in Chemical or Process Technology ideally. High school graduate or equivalent required. Skills, Qualifications, and Special Intermediate computer skills Knowledge of ASU process theory and related equipment associated with the process. Ability to effectively communicate through excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills Proficient in organizational skills. Ability to prioritize, handle multiple projects, and multi-task.
