What you'll be doing:

  • Support Continuous Improvement initiatives, contributing to production quality and process optimization.
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment and processes, ensuring effective and safe operations.
  • Perform product evaluations, assist with prototype assemblies, and solve complex production issues.
  • Collaborate with engineers to introduce new processes and improve existing ones.
  • Create test plans, technical reports, and documentation to support ongoing improvements.
  • Perform routine equipment maintenance and calibration to ensure optimal performance.
  • Lead or participate in Green Belt projects and conduct process audits.
  • Assist in training employees on new products and procedures.

What you will need to be considered:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent training and certifications.
  • 3+ years of experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment, ideally in the medical device industry.
  • Proficient with software tools (Excel, Word, SAP) for data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience with test equipment such as multi-meters, high pot testers, and tensile testers.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards (IEC 60601, QSR, ISO 13485).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and handle technical documentation.
  • Experience with the scientific method and root cause analysis for troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work in a team and effectively communicate technical information.
  • Capability to work with intricate components.
  • Ability to lift 35-55 lbs.
  • Comfortable using adhesives, solvents, and microscopes for extended periods.
  • Must be able to work overtime and adhere to attendance guidelines.

Preferred Skills:

  • QSR training and experience in regulatory standards.
  • Experience with reclamation and salvage of defective products.
