THE JOB:

As a Food Runner, you'll be the face of exceptional hospitality, delivering WOW-worthy experiences with your friendly demeanor. By attentively understanding and anticipating guests' unique preferences, you'll create moments of joy and delight that make every visit unforgettable and leave a lasting impression long after they've left the pool.

THE STARTING RATE:$15.7372 hourly, plus tips

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Greet guests in a positive, friendly manner, making them feel welcome

• Expedite food from the kitchen to cabanas on the pool deck

• Work outside in various weather conditions such as heat, cold, wind, etc.

• Describe food upon placement on the table, answering questions pertaining to the dishes

• Describe menu features as needed

• Communicate with the expediter to ensure delivery of food to the correct table and position

• Communicate needs of the guest to kitchen and management

• Check dining area, tables and chairs for cleanliness, maintain cleanliness and organization of station and service area

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays

• 6+ months of prior food and beverage experience in a high-volume setting, preferably as a food runner

• Experience working in a similar resort setting

• Knowledgeable of food and menu preparation

• Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
