Role Summary

As the Localization Coordinator, you will work in a small and growing Localization team to partner with various teams at Rivian to localize their content with accuracy, quality, and efficiency.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in building and maintaining translation memory (TM), glossaries, style guides, and other resources
  • Support the centralization and organization of translation assets across teams
  • Manage end-to-end localization projects across organizations, including scoping, scheduling and tracking
  • Coordinate with external vendors
  • Monitor and optimize translation quality
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and educate stakeholders on best practices for localization and globalization
  • Support international launches and contribute to the development and optimization of localization workflows

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in linguistics, communications, technology, or equivalent job experience
  • 2-5+ years of experience working in localization on the client side in a mid to large size company in multiple regions
  • Experience working with TMS, XML authoring tools, CMS, and Git
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams such as marketing, software engineering, technical publications, service, and legal
  • Ability to manage tasks and information flow using collaboration software such as JIRA, Confluence, Google Workspace, and SharePoint
  • Extremely detail oriented and organized
  • Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently to stakeholders
  • Proven ability to solve complex problems, work with ambiguity, and be self-motivated
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging work environment
  • Experience launching a new language is a plus
  • Fluency in other languages is a plus

Pay Disclosure

Salary Range/Hourly Rate for California Based Applicants: $67,900 - $84,900 annually (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).

Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment.)
