Naval Acquisition Program Analyst

As a Naval Acquisition Program Analyst, you know the complexities of supporting a project from concept to completion. Many programs require a significant investment of limited resources, and it's imperative to keep the project on a productive path. That's why we need you, an experienced program management specialist who can help ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication.

On our team, you'll implement and maintain organizational programs in support of our Navy customer. You'll help with tactical planning using resources like Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office and regular interactions with both Booz Allen and Navy Leadership, and other acquisition program specialists.

You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience supporting a Department of Defense (DoD) program office

  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite programs, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Ability to assist with the development and management of program roadmaps, plans, and schedules to meet the goals and objectives of the Program Office

  • Ability to identify, research, discuss, and resolve administrative and financial issues independently and as part of a team, set priorities that balance service and control, and manage and track multiple initiatives

  • Ability to coordinate daily among customers and field activities to monitor all aspects of program performance against the Program Management Plan

  • Ability to work independently and pay strict attention to detail

  • Ability to both learn and teach

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Secret clearance

  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with contracts and acquisitions management for a Major Defense Acquisition Program (MDAP)

  • Experience with a NAVSEA Program

  • Experience with Urgent Operational Needs

  • Experience with the statutory and regulatory requirements regarding Milestones B, including engineering and manufacturing development, and Milestone C, including initiating production and deployment

  • Experience developing Statements of Work (SOW), Technical Instructions (TIs), Task Descriptions (TDs), Basic Ordering Agreements (BOA), or Delivery Orders

  • Experience with Directive 5000.01 and the Defense Acquisition System

  • Possession of excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills

  • Possession of excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and oral

  • Possession of excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills, including preparing and delivering briefings and reports to senior government executives

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
