Purpose of the Job
The Accounts Payable (AP) Analyst is responsible for all AP payment processing in North America as well as all vendor follow-ups related to AP, including Payment Inquiries, Vendor Service Fee disputes, provide remittance information, and statement reconciliation.
This will be a hybrid position based in our office in downtown Chicago, Illinois. This role will be required to be in office 2-3 days per week, with the ability to work from home the remaining days.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing payments to vendors daily and weekly.
- Set up and maintain vendor files, ensuring proper application of deduction structures.
- Handle incoming vendor inquiries as well as internal reach outs in a timely manner.
- Manage statement reconciliation for suppliers that have past due balances.
- Demonstrate a methodical approach to analyzing problems, identifying root causes, and developing effective solutions.
- Clearly articulate complex concepts to both vendors and internal departments.
Knowledge, Skills + Experience
- 3-4 years of accounts payable experience
- Strong background in Microsoft Office, highly proficient in Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or Economics
- Highly detail-oriented
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate across many organizational levels
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask required
- Must possess a high energy and sense of urgency
- Able to work closely with other team members in various regions
- Basic SAP knowledge
- Outside the box problem solving skills
- Thrive in dynamic environments where adapting to challenges and implementing creative solutions is essential.
- Actively listen and facilitate discussions to brainstorm solutions.

The US base salary range for this position is $65,000 to $70,000 annually. Actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors that are unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, certifications, and work location. This range may be different in different locations due to differences in the cost of labor. The total compensation for this package includes an annual performance bonus target.
