The Counseling Center is part of the MU Student Health and Well-Being unit, which includes the Counseling Center, Student Health Center, and Wellness Resource Center. The Center is an APA-accredited doctoral internship site and serves a multiculturally diverse and international student community. The Counseling Center focuses on multicultural competence, affirmation and inclusive excellence, and the staff seeks like-minded professionals to join a team engaged in efforts to enhance campus services to better support all students. This position is available by early August 2025; specific date may be negotiable for a summer start. This position is 40 hours per week and may require evening and weekend hours supporting activities and programs within the department. Occasionally division and campus projects may require additional hours outside of your normal schedule. Minimum Qualifications
A Doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology or Clinical Psychology and 2 years of experience in counseling. Must be eligible for licensure in the state of Missouri. Provisional Licensure will not be accepted as the clinician must be able to practice independently. Preferred Qualifications
Five years of full-time post-degree clinical experience. Additionally, a minimum of one year of clinical experience working in a college counseling center (this may include practica, internship or post-doctoral experience) is desired. Anticipated Hiring Range
Salary Range: $90,000-$115,000 annually if already licensed in any jurisdiction, depending on experience and other qualifications.
