QC Analytical Systems Senior Lead

Closing Date for Applications - 17th February (COB)

Responsible for the Quality standards, business lifecycle, support and continuous improvement of the Continued Method Verification (CMV) system across the GSC QC Laboratories. This is a hands-on role and responsibilities will include defining business and system strategies, system ownership, system data management and developing and maintaining training material. The role will also be a key interface for the GSC sites, global quality control, MSAT and R&D teams in ensuring robust, standardized system reporting capabilities are implemented. The systems and predictive reporting functionality will be used to both measure and optimize the analytical methods in the laboratory systems.

In this role you will:

  • As System owner ensure the technical solutions meet business requirements, are maintained in a validated state and follow the applicable QMS / Regulatory policies and procedures.
  • Project / Program and Risk Management including developing project scopes and objectives.
  • Accountable for site system implementation and support and through processes such as structured learning and Communities of practice provide expert advice on the ongoing use and system standards to be used across the GSC sites.
  • Strong collaboration and partnering skills across the Quality business process owners, QC system owners and Tech teams to ensure the required business / critical data requirement sources are both available and data quality is maintained.
  • Establish processes for CMV data management including data formatting, data cleaning, standardization and analysis.
  • Share best practices and support service level agreements, use industry benchmarking and leverage the capabilities of both new and existing tools for Data and Analytics.

  • Experience with laboratory information management data collection systems
  • Experience in pharmaceutical laboratory testing activities.
  • Experience in Data management, Data Governance and data analytics /reporting
  • Organize, manage, and direct a complex variety of activities, people and tasks based at multiple locations globally, prioritizing conflicting demands in a measured, business focused way.
  • Ability to collaborate and form strong partnerships within teams and diverse stakeholders/customers to achieve business goals and objectives
  • Ability to analyse complex data/information/scenarios and make rational, risk based decisions which are communicated and/or escalated clearly and confidently. Addresses challenges to Quality and compliance decisions/positions in a knowledgeable and assertive manner

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Degree in a Science or Engineering related discipline.
  • Business and Technical expertise in pharmaceutical computer systems delivery.
