OVERVIEW

We are currently searching for a skilled professional to join a well-known client's team as an Associate Scientist in Lake Bluff, IL. The Associate Scientist role will support reagent manufacturing, conduct laboratory experiments, and assist in process improvements. Their work will have a direct impact on the organization and the larger clinical industry, making this an amazing career opportunity.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Conduct laboratory experiments following established protocols

* Support reagent manufacturing processes and contribute to product improvements

* Investigate internal nonconformances and customer complaints related to reagents

* Design experiments and testing schemes, analyze data, and interpret results

* Write protocols, reports, and technical documents

* Present findings and updates to cross-functional teams

* Perform and document Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) activities

* Ensure compliance with ISO, FDA, and GMP regulations (knowledge of audits is a plus)

* Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and optimize processes

* Manage multiple tasks efficiently while meeting project deadlines

EXPERIENCE

0-2 years of related experience required

EDUCATION

Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in science or a related discipline required

SHIFT: Variable (8-hour shifts)

* 1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM or 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM

* 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM

* Weekend Availability: We request volunteers to work 1-2 Saturdays per month (8:00 AM - 3:00 PM)
