Retail Sales Supervisor

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The ideal candidate would demonstrate the ability to work independently, possess an entrepreneurial mindset and be self-motivated with a retail background. As a leader of the two-member team, you will drive the success of the outlet in a consistently changing environment. Partnering with other departments to optimize the performance of the team is paramount to success. AFR Clearance Center offers employees a five-day workweek, a base salary, bi-weekly commissions, paid time off, medical benefits, and employee recognition and rewards programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Key Holder- Opening and closing business and performing cash deposits.

* Provide quality customer service, including purchase assistance, suggestive selling, and product information.

* Assist customers by maintaining knowledge of store products and pricing.

* Operate the cash register and credit card machine accurately, ensuring the correct change is returned to the customer.

* Closing the register and submitting the End of Day (EOD) Report.

* Merchandising the retail sales floor.

* Keeping the store clean and well-organized is essential, which provides regular dusting and vacuuming.

* Prepare and maintain product displays as requested.

* Report any theft or suspected theft by customers or employees to management immediately.

* Assist with other business operations as needed.

* Post furniture listings on Facebook Marketplace and provide the marketing team with weekly photos of the store.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:

* Good communication skills are essential in both verbal and written form and reading and comprehension.

* Customer Service oriented and excels in customer relations.

* Demonstrated professionalism and detail attention.

* Time Management.

* Available to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed.

EDUCATION:

* High School Diploma or equivalent.

* Preferred languages are English and Spanish, both spoken and written.

EXPERIENCE:

* Experience is not mandatory, but it will be highly valued.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL QUALIFICATIONS:

* The job requires standing and walking for extended periods.

* The ability to perform simple tasks, rational thinking, and numerical calculations is required.

* This job requires rearranging the furniture on the sales floor.
