This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship. Job Summary: The Director Infrastructure is responsible for overseeing and managing the IT infrastructure within the organization. This role involves ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of the company's IT systems and networks. The Director Infrastructure will lead a team of IT professionals and work closely with other departments to support the company's digital manufacturing initiatives. This role will work a hybrid schedule (3 days in office/2 days at home) out of our office in Solon, Ohio. Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership, tactical planning, and daily operational oversight to ensure optimum uptime of critical operational technologies.
- Align and supervise activities of Operations Technology personnel across assigned divisions.
- Proactively ensure appropriate skill levels are maintained within the region in accordance with factory business strategies.
- Collaborate and consult with both internal and external departments regarding technology, focus, and alignment.
- Accountable for the coordination of Information Technology projects for the assigned region.
- Develop and maintain relationships with factory leadership in assigned divisions.
- Ensure, maintain, and periodically inspect factory IT infrastructure, ensuring adherence to Nestle standards, industry best practices, and equipment life-cycle management.
- Maintain an active role in developing and maintaining the skill sets of direct reports.
Key Qualifications:
- BA/BS in IT or Engineering or equivalent experience
- 12 years' experience in IT, leadership, and business partner role with exposure to factory operations (quality, engineering, safety, HR).
- Ability to work nights/weekends as applicable to support team/factories.
- Strong leadership and multitasking skills with ability to prioritize resources for maximum value.
- Excellent understanding of manufacturing environments and digital manufacturing technologies.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with various departments and stakeholders, including stakeholder management.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to propose multiple solutions to complex issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
