Translate business requirements into system definitions and solutions. Strategic partner, acting as liaison between the user community, management, executives, and the technical applications development staff (may include offshore staff). Resolve system problems to ensure customer processes run smoothly. Document business processes, training procedures, standard operating procedures, project status, etc. Implement system alignment with business processes. Demonstrate a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a passion for transforming data into actionable insights. Use data analysis tools and techniques to communicate complex information to stakeholders effectively.

What You'll Do:

  • Leads, instructs, directs, and checks the work of other Business Systems Analysts.
  • Technical and implementation focus is on providing standard and customized applications to resolve business needs/issues.
  • Identifies business system requirements and related business/application solutions over a complete business process.
  • Develops new customizations with design, documentation, testing and training.
  • Conducts business process evaluations to gain technical knowledge of business requirements.
  • Writes and maintains system documentation.
  • Troubleshoots and guides others on a wide variety of complex problems and identifies solutions within broad application and functional expertise.
  • Manages Data by ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of data by establishing and following data governance processes for CRAFT systems.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders and works closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., CRAFT, Claims, Finance, Title Divisions, Data/Analytics) to understand their data needs and provide insights that drive business performance.
  • Identifies opportunities for process optimization and automation to improve data collection, analysis, and reporting for CRAFT.
  • Required to perform duties outside of normal work hours based on business needs.
  • Uses skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry practices and established policies and procedures.
  • Troubleshoots and guides others on a wide variety of complex problems and identifies solutions within broad application and functional expertise.
  • Validate and/or create Quality Assurance Test Cases and/or perform testing.
  • Mentors other Business System Analysts on industry standards and best practices.
  • Lead business acceptance testing activities.
  • Perform Data Analysis by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business decision-making.
  • Manage and execute CRAFT Connect and BI projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
  • Provide training and support to CRAFT team members on the use of business intelligence tools and best practices.
  • Demonstrate Proficiency in SQL, data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, R, Python).
  • Apply analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret complex data and present insights clearly.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate High level of attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

  • Leads, instructs, directs, and assigns work to other Business Systems Analysts, monitoring project status.
  • Acts as a team leader for projects with moderate budgets or of a short to intermediate duration.
  • Maywork with Manager on new Employee Orientation and Training.
  • Mentors and advises less experienced Business Systems Analysts, monitoring project status.
  • Uses expertise of other Business Systems Analysts and Business Intelligence Manager to leverage a wide range of additional resources to explore/implement complex customized applications as a solution.
  • May lead an implementation team or lead a medium/large sized project in a project management type role.
  • Other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Generally, requires BS Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Typically have 7+ years of directly related experience.
  • Typically, 3+ years of experience leading analysis efforts and/or BSA resources.
  • CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) certification preferred.
  • Typically, 3-5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related role.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Considers the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment.
  • Solid working knowledge of standard features and functions of multiple applications/modules to field, analyze and resolve customer issues/problems.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in order to define business and technical parameters and lead teams.
  • Identifies problems, research alternatives, prepares presentations, drives solutions, tests to confirm, gains consensus, and implements solutions for multiple applications within multiple functions.
  • Strong working knowledge of Data Analysis and/or relational databases and ability to mentor others.
  • Standard Microsoft Office skill set.
  • Strong working knowledge of system integrations and supporting technologies and ability to mentor others.
  • Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and tools (e.g., Redshift, Snowflake).
  • Experience with statistical analysis and modeling.
  • Familiarity with machine learning techniques and tools.

Salary Range: $109,650.00 - $182,725.00 Annually

This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
