Role Summary

The Service Analyst role will be responsible for managing workstreams that enable the Rivian Service organization to make strong, data driven decisions. This role will work closely with Service stakeholders as well as our Enterprise Data and Digital Products teams to help advance our data analytics platform and capabilities.


Responsibilities

  • Use data analytics to build clear, meaningful visualizations that highlight Service performance and answer key business questions
  • Leverage visualization and analytical tools such as Tableau, Hex, Databricks, and Google Sheets/Excel to develop and maintain dashboards visualizing operational performance and monitor effectiveness over time
  • Use SQL (and potentially DBT) to explore, gather, and validate datasets from multiple sources
  • Build relationships and collaborate cross-functionally across Rivian to understand needs, operational pain points, and relevant KPIs
  • Train stakeholders and answer questions on usage, incorporating feedback for continuous improvement
  • Support leadership presentation and business review development with data insights
  • Perform ad hoc analyses to provide support for on-the-spot business inquiries and leadership requests
  • Monitor and filter incoming data requests via Slack and other intake channels to help ensure orderly development and management of dashboards/reports
  • Work closely with source data engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues when they arise

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of data analysis experience in Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, or Manufacturing organizations
  • 1-3 years of hands-on experience creating dashboards and data stories using Hex, Tableau, or other visualization tools-strong background in Hex development is a plus
  • Strong background in data trend analysis and root cause identification
  • Strong SQL skills across complex data sets-familiarity with Databricks, DBT, and Python also a plus
  • Adaptability to changing project scopes and organizational needs in a dynamic, cross-functional environment
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate well across all levels of the organization
  • Passion for data-leveraging insights to drive innovation and develop creative solutions
  • Ownership mindset-self-starter with the ability to think proactively and anticipate needs of the business

Pay Disclosure

Salary Range for California Based Applicants: $85k - $113k (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).

Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Rivian covers most of the premiums.
