Job Description
OUR TEAM: We are Promega's Integration and Customer Enablement Team-an international group of technology and business analysts dedicated to driving innovation and process improvement. Our mission is to provide technical leadership for Promega's integration tools and direct purchase customer relationships. By leveraging integration technology, we create meaningful solutions for both our internal teams and external customers.
YOUR ROLE: As a Senior eBusiness Analyst, you will be responsible for managing business integration projects with our customers. You'll play a critical role in supporting and enhancing integration solutions that facilitate seamless data exchange between internal systems and external customer platforms. Drawing on your expertise in integration technologies and best practices, you'll advise on strategic integration plans, ensure project success, and drive continuous process improvements that align with Promega's mission and customer needs.

JOB OBJECTIVE: Works in partnership with key customers to overcome their business challenges through the application of technology. Identifies, prioritizes and manages projects to implement eCommerce solutions through a consultative approach that addresses our customer's business needs and requirements, aligns with corporate initiatives, and appropriately manages resources. Responsible for facilitating the relationship including the gathering of requirements, management of expectations, establishment of timeline and coordination of resources for successful project completion.

CORE DUTIES:

1. Manage B2B ecommerce solutions projects between the business, end customers and our contracted service provider.

2. Coordinate and perform testing for major system enhancements and B2B customer integrations including reviewing/creating documents for testing, creating test matrices, and executing test cases.

3. Meets with all levels of customers to determine requirements and define the scope of integrations.

4. Effectively communicate and manage integration requirements and timelines to business, customer, and contracted service provider in a clear fashion.

5. Clarifies a customer's system specifications, understands their work practices, and the nature of their business.

6. Consistently identify opportunities by utilizing analysis of business processes combined with an understanding of customer needs. Apply knowledge to then provide practical, cost-effective solutions to improve productivity and/or profitability.

7. Develops and maintains a strategy to support the sales organization and their strategic/targeted customers.

8. Works jointly with the Helix business team to identify opportunities, propose customer integration methods, and ensure synergies between web, eCommerce and Helix channels.

9. Understands Promega's business systems. Communicates gaps and opportunities for potential future enhancements.

10. Analyzes problems, makes recommendations, develops solutions, presents solutions in written/oral reports, and implements solutions.

11. Develops, initiates and maintains an eCommerce project list that focuses specifically on strategic customers and markets to deliver the greatest impact to growing electronic order entry.

12. Works with solution providers such as Ariba, SciQuest, PerfectCommerce, SAP, etc. to develop solutions that will meet customer goals and support Promega's corporate initiatives.

13. Supports and trains the sales organization in developing their understanding of Promega's eCommerce capabilities to facilitate their ability to promote these services.

14. Understand and communicate current trends and best practices in eCommerce and eProcurement.

15. Consult on application development projects impacting eCommerce solutions.

16. Creates and analyzes metrics around eCommerce technologies.

17. Travels to customer sites as required both domestically and internationally.

20. Understands and complies with ethical, legal and regulatory requirements applicable to our business.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Bachelor's Degree in business, Information Systems, or equivalent.

2. 6 years or more experience working with integrations of Buyer portals (Ariba, Coupa, Jaggaer, etc.).

3. Strong analytical skills and ability to build solutions to meet current and future needs.

4. Skills in database query tools including SQL.

5. Strong communications (oral and written), interpersonal and organizational skills.

6. Demonstrated experience with eCommerce portals such as SciQuest.

7. Knowledge of sales and transactional processes and information technologies used in procurement.

8. Knowledge of basic supply chain processes and methodologies.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Demonstrated experience leading an implementation of one or more eProcurement systems.

2. Demonstrated experience in one or more ERP systems.

3. Demonstrated experience with Punch out technologies.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

1. Ability to travel.
