Vaco is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Manager. In this role, you will oversee the accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of all vendor invoices, payments, and expense reports. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and a commitment to maintaining high levels of accuracy in financial transactions. Key Responsibilities: Manage the daily accounts payable functions, including invoice processing, payment runs, and vendor inquiries Supervise and mentor a team of accounts payable specialists, providing training and support as needed Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments Review and approve accounts payable transactions in compliance with company policies Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports related to accounts payable activity Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to streamline processes and resolve issues Assist in the preparation of audit documentation and provide support during audits Implement and maintain process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs Qualifications: Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and accounting software (experience with [specific software] is a plus) Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations Why Join: Competitive salary and benefits package Flexible work options to support work-life balance A collaborative, supportive team environment Opportunities for career growth and development If you are a proactive, results-driven professional with a passion for accounts payable and team leadership, we'd love to hear from you!
