Job Overview
The Global Customer Account Coordinator partners with all core departments at Gigaphoton including Sales, Strategic Planning, Marketing, Customer Service and Development to support and coordinate all aspects of the Worldwide customer interface. This employee will coordinate highly complex and high-profile projects for customer accounts and will work directly with managers to identify teams or other resources to execute those projects, as necessary.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Coordinates activities for the Gigaphoton Worldwide customer. Customer relations.
- Works closely with GPI Sales and GPU BU Manager to coordinate and oversees the initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, and closure of Account Team projects for the Gigaphoton Worldwide customer
- Plans and ensure cross-functional understanding and alignment of effective and efficient service operations of the account
- Performs product and market research, creates, then coordinates the sale and delivery of products and services to the customer, including pricing, negotiation, gaining approval, and closing deals
- Defining, analyzing, and documenting issues and problems to enable accurate problem identification and resolution
- Write drafts as well as signature documents including the coordination necessary to close customer contracts. This includes coordination of Legal department review encompassing all aspects, including pricing, service-support coverage, and product warranty
- Planning and coordination of trade shows with US Region
- Primary meeting managers, planning and coordination of customer meetings
Progression in knowledge of LASERs and account management
Qualifications/Requirements
- He or she is required to be local in the Austin office Monday to Friday
- 1 or 2 year experience in a related role in a highly independent and motivated role is preferred
- Ideal candidates will possess a minimum of bachelor's degree in business administration, Project Management or Marketing
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, Sharepoint) and Macros tools developed for analysis
- The ability and willingness to learn intermediate technical skills such as Power BI, Copilot ... other AI tools
- Excellent communications skills including written, verbal and presentation skills as well as demonstrated skills interfacing with both internal and external customer
- Excellent note taking skills and producing action items with deliverables
- Experience interfacing with and communicating in a Japanese corporate environment is preferred
- Strong time and project management skills, and problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Must project a cooperative and positive attitude toward customers, employees, and the Company
- Must comply with all environmental, quality and safety rules, practices, and standards
- Travel is required both domestic and international
