Analyst, Counter-Countermeasure and Threat Discrimination

Avion Solutions Inc., an employee-owned company, seeks candidates for an Analyst, Counter-Countermeasure and Threat Discrimination to support the Missile Defense Agency. This position is based in Huntsville, AL.

Job Responsibilities/Duties:

• Provide systems analysis expertise to develop new Missile Defense System capabilities to identify lethal objects.
• Provide systems analysis expertise to develop new Missile Defense System capabilities to identify lethal objects.
• Work within a multi-discipline, multi-source/industry team.
• Provide technical analysis, management, and general scientific support to MDA's Counter- Countermeasures and Discrimination Directorate.
• Develop and formulate options for improving the Missile Defense System's discrimination and electronic protection capabilities.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree and 7+ years of relevant experience
• Systems engineering analysis and process management to include development and review of engineering requirements, concepts of operations, and integrated schedules
• Experience with Technical performance assessments, Risk analysis and mitigation development
• Must be a US Citizen and have/able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time. US travel only.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• Knowledge of MDA systems engineering processes.
