JOB TITLE: Driver Used Oil LOCATION: Houston, TX POSITION REPORTS TO:Driver Manager - Lubes SCHEDULE: TBD. Some overtime and weekends will be required. WAGES: Commensurate with experience and skills RESPONSIBILITIES Follow delivery instructions, and maintain compliance with all DOT, company and customer safety and operational policies and procedures Properly load and unload product at various customer locations in a professional, courteous, timely, safe, and efficient manner Clean tanks and tankers Properly follow all DOT regulations, policies and procedures Complete paperwork accurately and timely Comply with Sun Coast's accident and incident reporting procedures for accidents and spills Other related tasks as assigned by manager Pay Range: - , General Benefits: BASIC REQUIREMENTS Locals only please. Must live within 60 miles of terminal Minimum age 23 Valid class A license with hazmat and tanker endorsements, a good driving record and a good understanding of DOT regulations Must be able to pass background screening including MVR and criminal Must have 1 year of Class A tractor trailer experience and is also knowledgeable and experienced to operate a Roll Off trailer Must be willing to be clean shaven Must be able to enter and work in a small confined space, for tank and tanker cleaning Must have some mechanical aptitude Ability to lift heavy objects such as full hoses (minimum of 50 lbs.) Must not be afraid of heights Must have a professional appearance and attitude, and abide by the company dress code policy Must be flexible. May be asked to stay late and/or work on weekends. (Work week may exceed 70 hours (oilfield exemption applies). Ability to work in extreme weather conditions and for 12 to 18 hours per day Must be able to use three points of access getting in and out of the tractor, multiple times a day Must be able to climb up steps to verify tank compartments as needed Must be able to work safely in uneven or muddy surfaces Ability to work an extended work week. Overnight and/or out of town travel may be required Good basic math skills, and ability to communicate well in verbal and written fashion Ability to work well under pressure in a team environment and get along with others Strong customer service skills, and the ability to effectively prioritize, multi-task, manage time, organize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment PREFERRED Experience in environmental operations Experience operating a Fork Lift Sun Coast Resources, LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
