We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join our Group and support our Level + Pressure US Production in driving World Class Excellence within our Quality Engineering Team. Within Level + Pressure US, we utilize state-of-the-art production techniques and manufacturing technologies to ensure the quality of the instrumentation produced, as well as the safety of employees and the environment.

We're looking for a dynamic individual who excels at managing operations, motivating teams, and maintaining high standards to drive our production success.

Which tasks will you perform?
You will:

  • Assist the Quality Manager in implementing and maintaining the Combined Management System (ISO9001, ISO14001, and ISO45001)
  • Maintain Quality Management System Internal Audit schedule and audit reports.
  • Maintain internal product/process audits and associated reporting.
  • Conduct audits, assign actions to stakeholders, verify effectiveness of the actions, close out audit findings, create reports and determine proper corrective action and preventive actions.
  • Lead the customer and regulatory agency audits.
  • Act as a customer complaint administrator and intake manager.
  • Maintains a constant focus on improving systems, processes and performance related to all aspects of quality.
  • Analyze problems, determine root cause, and implement corrective action.
  • Monitor supplier performance and conduct supplier audits.
  • Manage the supplier qualification, supplier audits and communication with the supplier in case of defects for supplier corrective and preventive actions.
  • Review & Approve Supplier APQP/First Article submissions.
  • Support quality inspectors and assembly operators to ensure products & processes comply with technical specifications and requirements of the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Continuously improve Quality incoming inspection processes and procedures.
  • Develop and implement incoming inspection sampling plans.
  • Interface with Engineering/Operations to ensure new product transfers meet technical specifications and quality requirements.
  • Capable of training all levels of organization on quality, audit management and quality systems related processes/topics.
  • Additional duties as assigned

What do we expect from you?
You:

  • Knowledge of ISO9001/ISO14001 and ISO45001
  • Knowledge of ISO17025
  • ASQ/CQA Lead Auditor Certification Preferred
  • Must possess project management skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment with multiple daily tasks & minimal direct supervision
  • Capability to interact professionally with individuals within and outside the company especially customers, suppliers etc.
  • Action oriented problem solver, individually and cross functional environment.
  • Must possess general troubleshooting, analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and drawings
  • Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Project etc.
  • Working knowledge of SAP or other ERP software
  • Possess an understanding of Design Failure Mode Effect Analysis (DFMEA) and Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis (PFMEA)
  • Experience with mechanical processes (welding, machining, assembly etc..)
