More about the role

This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as an Advanced Quality Engineer for Color Kinetics onsite in Burlington, MA, with Signify.

  • Regularly interface with the key project stakeholders, developing a comprehensive understanding of customer expectations and product requirements, to ensure that the design and product will meet its intended purpose while achieving design and quality targets.

  • Lead all aspects of quality on the product development project team for smart lighting products and systems for professional applications, ensuring all quality deliverables are completed on time and with the right quality level.

  • Develop CTQs (Critical to Quality) and set quality KPIs for product development projects.

  • Develop validation test plans and assist in their implementation.

  • Apply DfSS (Design for Six Sigma), APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning), and other quality tools to ensure products meet customer expectations, reliability ambitions, and business needs.

  • Predict product reliability and help R&D improve the reliability of designs. Identify and mitigate risks using Failure Modes Effects Analysis (FMEA) and other tools.

More about you

While we value and appreciate all applicants, we believe that the following experience and skills will be needed to shine brightly in this job opening:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or related engineering discipline;ASQ certifications preferred

  • 3+ years' experience in quality, product development, or design assurance (experience in lighting or a regulated industry a plus)

  • Experience with electro-mechanical sub-systems with embedded firmware

  • Understanding of risk management tools including FMEA

  • Strong analytical skills and a systematic approach to problem solving and analyzing issues.

  • Salary:$ 100,300 - 140,000

  • Bonus:target bonus opportunity - 10%
