The EVP, Investment Management role is responsible for overseeing the military portfolio from a strategic investment perspective, developing and executing strategies that realize growth and ensures short/long-term success. Optimizing the strength and performance of the business segment is at the forefront of this role.

How You'll Contribute to the Team



  • Uses expert knowledge of our partners with business segment insight to influence growth and performance of the existing portfolio.
  • Demonstrates expert insight into the organization's risks and opportunities within the investment environment.
  • Develop, communicate and implement effective growth strategy for the assigned business segment.
  • Generate partner-specific commercial insight by maintaining a detailed understanding of partners' goals, concerns, and drivers; utilize information gathered to challenge partner to act.
  • Conduct research to understand trends, market conditions, competitor landscape, and other external factors which impact internal strategic direction.
  • Builds and maintains strategic alliances with all stakeholders in the organization and work together to achieve short- and long-term investment goals.
  • Negotiate complex and innovative solutions to generate significant investment opportunities for the portfolio.
  • Leverage relationships and business strategies to uncover new options or opportunities for the organization.
  • Apply financial management principals and knowledge to ensure solutions and decisions are fiscally sound.
  • Model the highest standards of business professionalism.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership to the asset management team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate existing investment and growth objectives.
  • Responsible for maximizing the portfolios performance to position for growth opportunities driving the service lines to achieve and surpass profitability.
  • Ensure program compliance in accordance with defined legal requirements.
  • Responsible for the measurement and effectiveness of all processes internal and external.
  • Provides timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating condition of the business.
  • Represent the organization with clients, investors, and business partners.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Essential Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field.
  • 20+ years of strong business experience in a growth environment with a focus on upholding contract obligations and identifying opportunities for increasing financial performance and growth. Previous experience with public-private partnerships, specifically with the government is a plus.
  • 10+ years leading teams to achieve performance and financial results.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate large and governmental entities and influence key decision makers, including proven success challenging stakeholders to embrace change.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex concepts into impactful statements for a variety of audiences and levels of sophistication.
  • Demonstrated ability to deploy effective negotiation techniques with an emphasis upon obtaining mutually beneficial outcomes and achieving results.
  • Business sophistication necessary to remain attune to our clients' needs and identify what is driving or hindering progress towards growth.
  • Proven success analyzing key business issues and identifying the root cause of business challenges.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement strategic solutions to address challenges and prepare teams for future growth.
  • Demonstrated history of building strategic relationships aligned on goals and focused on creating value for clients.
  • Computer proficiency, including working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.
  • Ability to travel regularly.
