GENERAL PURPOSE Identifies and nurtures strategic relationships with partners or potential customers in the MDU/ISP vertical supporting multiple brands of Legrand AV part time. Also part-time, this role provides acting liaison support role for a single Legrand AV brand for a separate division of Legrand. DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Assists in the maintenance and development of a strong pipeline of new MDU/ISP opportunities customer prospecting and bid support.
- Part time, the role works in conjunction with a Field Account Manager Specialist, and other Sales team members, to understand customers unique needs to follow-up and identified sales opportunities.
- Reaches out to customers base to collect project data and timelines, and to help organize project bid opportunities for our CRM.
- Develops connections with customers and may conduct field travel to support some scheduled trade show events.
- Manage time, priorities, and outside sales expectations to meet and exceed sales objectives.
- Utilize available Legrand AV resources and training to develop technical knowledge, sales skills, and interpersonal skills.
- Participates in or manages department/cross-functional projects as needed.
- Develops, communicates and ensures adherence to established company policies and procedures.
- Consistently supports compliance by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information, protecting the assets of the organization, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non-compliance, and adhering to applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, and the Company's policies and procedures

JOB REQUIREMENTS Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Outstanding listening, comprehension and clear, concise and grammatically sound oral and written communication skills
- Outstanding collaboration and interpersonal skills; professional presence and behavior with ability to handle confidential information
- High degree of resourcefulness
- Advanced personal computer skills including an enterprise resource system
- Excellent planning and organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage several projects at one time while providing high attention to details and excellent follow-through skills
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in sales, marketing, communications, business or technical field with 2-4 years of successful sales, account management, customer service and or industry related experience; or equivalent education and experience.
- Proficient in the use of Salesforce.com and PowerPoint and Excel.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required (for the majority of the working day) to sit and make coordinated movements of the fingers for data entry on a keyboard. Duties will occasionally require the employee to be able to reach above shoulder level, reach below knee level, bend, stoop, squat/kneel, lift, push or pull.
- General office environment.
- Long-distance or air travel as needed - not to exceed 15% travel.
