Apply Now Company: Superior Recreational Products Job Location: Carrollton, GA Work Setting: In-Person Summary The Sewing Machine Operator will add value to Superior Recreational Products by maximizing the quality, efficiency, and fulfillment of our products and sewing services. This position has no supervisory duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Work alongside other employees with a solid knowledge of sewing practices and fabric preparation Improve the accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency of production processes through team motivation Increase capacity, efficiency, and operational flexibility Be responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions Commit, practice, and adhere to safety procedures High attention to detail Proficient in working with fabrics Keep all equipment running smoothly Performs other related duties as assigned by Manager or Supervisor Preferred Qualifications: Basic knowledge running commercial sewing machines with an emphasis on sewing seams, corners, and trims Attention to detail Desire to work collaboratively with a result driven approach Able to communicate effectively and work well with others in a team environment Takes personal pride in work, positive mindset Other Duties Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Education and/or Experience GED/High School Diploma Work Environment and Physical Requirements This position is based in a plant environment where proper PPE will be required while performing tasks and duties. The position requires walking and standing for prolonged periods. As part of the regular duties of the job, this position requires the use of hands and fingers to handle, feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. This position regularly lifts and/or moves up to 25 pounds to shoulder height and occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds.
