Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Test Manager with 12 to 16 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Python Reporting & Analytics ETL Validation and Snowflake along with domain expertise in Property & Casualty Insurance. This hybrid role requires a proactive individual who can manage testing processes and ensure the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the testing strategy and execution for projects within the Property & Casualty Insurance domain.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of test plans test cases and test scripts.
  • Provide expertise in Python to automate testing processes and improve efficiency.
  • Utilize Reporting & Analytics tools to track and report on testing progress and outcomes.
  • Conduct ETL Validation to ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout the data pipeline.
  • Manage Snowflake environments to support testing activities and data validation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and alignment with project goals.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with testing activities to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to testing processes standards and best practices.
  • Mentor and guide junior testers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements within the Property & Casualty Insurance domain.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on testing progress and address any issues or concerns.

Qualifications

  • Possess strong technical skills in Python enabling the automation of complex testing processes.
  • Demonstrate expertise in Reporting & Analytics to provide insightful analysis and reporting on testing outcomes.
  • Have extensive experience in ETL Validation to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Show proficiency in managing Snowflake environments for effective data validation and testing.
  • Exhibit deep domain knowledge in Property & Casualty Insurance to understand and address industry-specific testing requirements.
  • Display excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Have a proven track record of leading testing initiatives and delivering high-quality software products.
  • Show commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest industry trends and best practices.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.
  • Possess a proactive and detail-oriented approach to managing testing activities.
  • Have experience in mentoring and guiding junior team members to foster their professional growth.
  • Exhibit strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple testing projects simultaneously.
  • Show dedication to maintaining high standards of quality and compliance in all testing activities.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $110000 - $135000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
