Why This Job

CMC's IT Shared Service group is looking to hire a SAP FICO lead with strong experience to support the finance business group through out the entire financial process from transaction recording to reporting. The FICO Lead will be responsible for our IT FI Ecosystem where we design, configure and maintain the back bone for CMC's financial transactions, treasury, tax, Credit and Collections.

What You'll Do
  • Responsible for leading cross application projects, including design and deployment of new functionality for the financial process
  • Provide leadership for the team to plan, organize, control and support the finance organization
  • Be the technical SME on the SAP application for the Finance and FSCM areas
  • Provide technical direction to other team members on the application and IT best practices following SOX compliance and IT Governance Controls
  • Prepare system documentation and update business process documentation and system configuration for new functionality implementation projects
  • Research and propose new operational support technologies, tools, and techniques
  • Provide high-level technical support to the Corporate Finance Shared Service teams during situations or critical monthly and quarterly close
  • Support cross application projects including disaster recovery for the finance functions, upgrades and support pack implementations
What You'll Need
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate up, down, and across the business
  • Minimum 15 years experience with SAP systems design and implementation on a global scale. Multi company code, cross country, multi-currency setups
  • Experience in a large environment, including experience with Financial Accounting, Asset Accounting, Banking, and Credit and Collections
  • Integration experience with other SAP modules (MM, PP, SD, PS, CO), high radius and concur applications
  • New Asset Accounting, CLM - lease management, as well as S4 Hana in the financial area experience preferred
  • Excellent project management skills; motivated to handle multiple complex projects and adhere to deadlines and project plans
  • SAP Finance Certified and experience in migrating from ECC to S4 Hana is a plus
  • Active participant in related professional SAP forums, user groups, etc.
  • Product owner skills, with an ability to listen, understand and help team members navigate through project implementations
  • Ability to interface with technical teams over informatica, Alteryx, Blackline, as well as non-technical business SME's
  • Must be able to take a consultative/partner approach with clients and work with minimal supervision on difficult assignments
  • Ability to manage relationships with core internal business customers as well as IT coworkers and third-party vendors
Your Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (preferred), Engineering, or a related discipline.
