HR Communications Manager

The HR Communications Manager will design and execute HR-related associate communications and engagement initiatives by partnering with the HR team to develop communication plans and content via multiple platforms and channels. This key HR team member will play a critical role in Printpack's ability to build and sustain the most talented and engaged workforce in the packaging industry, driving superior business results while supporting cultural and change management activities.

This role requires general experience and knowledge across HR functional areas. This role will also ensure that our internal communications strategy supports our external marketing strategy and associate value proposition and branding. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Develop and implement inclusive HR communication strategies and generate content that aligns with Printpack's culture to support talent acquisition, talent management, learning and development, total rewards, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), and associate wellbeing and engagement strategies

  • In conjunction with HR Leaders, develop an internal HR-related communications strategy and cadence for the organization

  • Partner and work closely with the HR team (CHRO, Learning and Development, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Total Rewards, HR Business Partners, HRIS, EHS) and other key stakeholders across the organization (Marketing, IT) to gather necessary details and gain endorsement for communications to ensure consistent and cohesive messaging

  • Develop and implement annual/bi-annual associate engagement surveys, listening and follow-up strategies, enterprise and focused pulse surveys, and other ad hoc surveys to allow all associate voices to be heard

  • Track and analyze survey data and key metrics to build needed business cases.

  • Develop content and Manage internal communication channels: intranet, text messages, digital signage, and internal newsletter

  • Create compelling, high-quality content tailored for diverse internal communication channels, ensuring messages effectively reach and resonate with target audiences.

  • Maintain clear, consistent, and cohesive messaging that reflects the company's voice, values, and brand identity

  • Research and recommend an approach for sharing information with associates at all levels, including shift-based manufacturing associates

  • Identify and track communications success metrics to evaluate effectiveness and integrate them into future initiatives

  • Work with subject matter experts to create internal communications and determine the best methods for delivery in support of various HR activities and programs to highlight HR cyclical activities

  • Provide general support to Senior Leadership on associate communications up to and including the CEO

  • Consult with business units and functional leads to support the company intranet site (BugBytes) and ensure an informative, user-friendly, and visually appealing experience, while maintaining brand standards

  • Facilitate translation of HR communications in partnership with internal resources

  • Partner on ad hoc projects as they arise

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Combination of education and relevant experience in Communications, Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field

  • Experience working in Human Resources, Communications and/or Marketing environment

  • Experience in HR-related writing, editing, change management and project management

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish), preferred

  • Experience with Microsoft Suite, SharePoint, and Canva, preferred

  • Experience developing and implementing annual employee engagement surveys, pulse surveys, or other ad hoc surveys to allow all associate voices to be heard

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with demonstrated ability to tailor content to the level and experience of the audience

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, collaboratively within a team, as well as build cross-functional relationships to deliver effective and cohesive communications

  • Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work without the need for detailed guidance

  • Experience using data to address business challenges and develop/adapt program/communications strategies

  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality
