Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Sell merchandise in the Gift Shop during hours of operation of the Hokusai exhibition, while providing a high level of customer service. Responsible for ensuring sales area is maintained and sales reports and cash handling are accurate. Cash handling with a major focus on promptness and friendly service in order to provide a high level of customer satisfaction in the Gift Shop. Front-line customer service representative, greeting customers, taking orders and monitoring customer activity in the store. Assist in financial accountability by correctly recording orders, processing credit card transactions, receiving/giving change, and counting the drawer. Maintain accurate merchandise sales reports and cash accounting - reporting to and reconciling with Patron Service Manager per shift. Responsible for following the dress code and persevering personal hygiene as well as the cleanliness of the gift shop areas including displays, check out and stock room. Attention to detail preparing sales area, product arrangement and cleanliness. Assure inventory is accurately accounted for. Be flexible in dealing with changes, customers, emergencies/problems. Work with others as a team to support MAC/CCMA/Warhol operations and standards, including Concessions/Bar areas. Perform any other duties as assigned by a member of management. Qualifications: Education High School Diploma/GED required. Experience 1-2 years cash handling/customer service experience required. Retail experience preferred. Training Compliance Training Training will begin in May and the exhibition will run from May 31st through September 21st, 2025. The schedule will typically require between 20-25 hours per week. Candidates must be flexible to work between 9:00am-6:30pm Tuesday - Sunday and additional evening hours on Thursday. Schedules/assignments will be set as needed, by the Supervisor. Considerable public contact and hours of standing during shift. This position requires a Background Check at the expense of the College.
