Description

The Sr. Manager, Project Management will lead and manage teams, ensuring the effective execution and delivery of projects for an assigned line of business. This role requires close collaboration with the Production, Quality, and Commercial teams to exceed client expectations by meeting service level agreements (SLAs) and maintaining high-quality standards across all projects.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Leadership & Team Management:
    Lead and mentor teams, providing the necessary resources, support, and training to help them succeed in managing their respective Project Managers.
  • Performance Management:
    Regularly assess the performance of teams, providing actionable feedback based on key performance indicators (KPIs). Drive team development through targeted coaching, training, and addressing performance gaps.
  • Client & Project Oversight:
    Oversee critical client programs, ensuring successful execution and on-time delivery. Support teams in managing key client relationships, ensuring projects meet deadlines, quality standards, and client expectations.
  • Escalation Handling:
    Take ownership of escalations related to quality, SLA compliance, and other operational challenges, collaborating with operations and commercial teams to quickly resolve issues and maintain client satisfaction.
  • Process Improvement:
    Identify and implement process improvements to optimize workflows, applying lean principles to increase productivity, project efficiency, and overall team performance.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    Foster strong communication channels and establish clear engagement guidelines between PM teams, operations, and commercial teams to ensure smooth project execution and timely issue resolution.
  • Standardization & Compliance:
    Ensure the team adheres to corporate standards for workflow management, folder structures, briefing procedures, and system usage, ensuring consistency across all projects.
  • Team Development:
    Support the growth and development of teams by setting clear objectives, providing continuous feedback, and ensuring ongoing opportunities for training and professional development.
  • Workforce & Resource Management:
    Manage the distribution of workloads, project assignments, and headcount planning to maintain optimal team performance and ensure resources are effectively allocated.
  • Additional Duties:
    Take on additional responsibilities and special projects as required by company leadership, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach.



Required Qualifications:



  • Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience: At least 5+ years of leadership experience, with a background in managing teams of Project Managers or Group Managers-preferably in the packaging industry or a related field.
  • Skills:



    • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate both internal and external relationships effectively.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
    • Strong problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on detail and continuous process improvement.



This is a remote position in the US. We are open to candidates in various states, with the exception of those residing in the following: AK, DC, DE, ME, NH, NM, OK, HI, MS, MT, NV, NE, ND, SD, VT, WY, WV

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $75,125 - $100,167 annually plus bonus eligibility. Ultimately, in determining pay, we will consider the successful candidate's location, experience, and other job-related factors.
