Director of Sales - Healthcare Consulting Data Solutions

What you will be doing:

The Director of Sales, Healthcare Consulting Data Solutions will spearhead Premier's efforts to acquire new clients within management consulting, healthcare consulting research firms, and stop-loss insurance sectors. This role is crucial for driving the growth of Premier's data and analytics solutions, offering tailored services that support strategic decision-making across various industries. In this role, the Director of Sales will leverage our unparalleled data capabilities to drive growth in our business consulting services, targeting large and mid-size consulting firms. Key Responsibilities

Responsibility #1- Client Acquisition 80% and Sales Strategy 20%

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to secure new clients within the targeted sectors. Spearhead negotiations and close deals to meet quarterly and annual sales targets.

    • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in management consulting, healthcare research, and stop-loss insurance industries. Serve as the primary liaison between Premier and potential clients.

    • Market Analysis: Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities within the management consulting and related sectors. Use insights to refine sales strategies and offerings.

    • Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with Premier's product, research, and operations teams to ensure that offerings meet the specific needs of prospective clients. Facilitate seamless integration of new clients into Premier's service model.

    • Performance Metrics: Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve business objectives

Required Qualifications

Work Experience:

Years of Applicable Experience - 7 or more years

Education:

Bachelors (Required)

Preferred Qualifications

Skills:

  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, proficient in CRM software and MS Office, experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI).

Experience:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales or business development, specifically within healthcare data solutions, consulting, or related fields.

  • Experience in healthcare consulting or with stop-loss insurance providers.

  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets in a similar role.

Education:

Bachelor's degree required; master's degree in business administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.

Working Conditions: Remote Travel Requirements: Travel 21-40% within the US Physical Demands: Sedentary: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves remaining stationary most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if movement is required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met. Premier's compensation philosophy is to ensure that compensation is reasonable, equitable, and competitive in order to attract and retain talented and highly skilled employees. Premier's internal salary range for this role is $99,000 - $185,000. Final salary is dependent upon several market factors including, but not limited to, departmental budgets, internal equity, education, unique skills/experience, and geographic location. Premier utilizes a wide-range salary structure to allow base salary flexibility within our ranges.
