DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a seasonal Park Maintenance Worker at Pymatuning State Park, you will play a vital role in enhancing and preserving the beauty and functionality of our park. In this position, you will engage in semi-skilled manual labor focused on constructing, maintaining, and operating park facilities, equipment, and properties. In this exciting role, you can take charge of your own daily tasks, while also collaborating with skilled professionals who will help you expand your expertise. Additionally, you may be asked to lead small teams in completing routine projects, allowing you to make a meaningful impact and grow your leadership skills. Your responsibilities will involve utilizing multiple construction and maintenance tools and equipment, allowing you to develop and apply valuable skills gained from hands-on experience. Your involvement will play a crucial role in elevating the enjoyment and ensuring the safety of our park for everyone who visits. Together, we can create a better experience for all! - Seasonal full-time employment without benefits
- Shift hours and days vary due to operational need, with a 30-minute lunch
- Weekends, holidays, and all shifts as needed at 37.5 hours per week

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience in laboring work including the use of tools and equipment used in maintenance or construction; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Condition of Employment:
- This position requires possession of a valid PA non-commercial Class C driver's license or equivalent.
Other Requirements:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
